A group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) is a tax-deferred savings arrangement registered under the Income Tax Act (Canada). The policyholder doesn’t pay tax on the interest income and growth of the account value. Typically, a group RRSP will use an accumulation annuity and/or segregated fund policies to accumulate money for retirement.
