We also exercise regular resolution preparedness testing with clear crisis roles across the whole organization, including with external stakeholders. Assuris ensures that our funding tools are sufficient to maintain the private sector solution without reliance on public support.

Assuris ensures that our protection levels are set so that most policyholders will never lose any benefits if their insurance company fails, and we clearly communicate our protection in advance of failure in order to maintain consumer confidence. We also ensure that we have the necessary powers and clarity of roles in resolution and provide thought leadership on international best practices for the Canadian insurance resolution framework.
